Cereal Killers: The next Garbage Pail Kids?

Recently I received a note from Joe Simko, an artist best known for his work on Garbage Pail Kids cards, rock bands' poster and album art and various cool pop-culture projects.

His latest venture: Cereal Killers, a set of trading cards that's sure to appeal to the GPK collector inside all of us.

Says Joe: "The Cereal Killers cards combine breakfast cereal characters with popular horror films. ... I think this card series may be right up Pop Candy readers' alley."

The packages (from Wax Eye) are pretty cool, arriving in the shape of tiny cereal boxes. Each box includes 20 cards, eyeball gum (ha!) and a "special premium gift," like a temporary tattoo or a magnet.
