A passer-by called police last month after fearing Nicolas Cage was ''out of control''.
Nicolas Cage was "out of control" before he was arrested last month.
A passer-by called police after hearing "screaming" during an argument between the 'Leaving Las Vegas' star - who was detained for domestic abuse, disturbing the peace and public intoxication on April 16 in New Orleans - and wife Alice Kim and said she feared someone would get hurt.
In an audio clip of the call to emergency services posted on website RadarOnline.com, the unnamed woman says: "I think he's going to hurt this child and woman.
They're screaming and screaming, and this man I think he's going to hurt this child and woman... The child is screaming ... it's a very bad scene! Someone has to come.
"There's a terrible emergency going on across the street involving a child, a man that's out of control screaming, 'let me in, let me in,' and he's holding a baby. I think he's trying to take it from its mother.
"I think it's escalated to something very bad.
"They're screaming and screaming, and this man I think he's going to hurt this child and woman... The child is screaming ... it's a very bad scene! Someone has to come."
Last week, New Orleans authorities said they will not prosecute the actor - who has five-year-old son Kal-El with Alice - over the incident.
According to reports, Cage was "heavily intoxicated" at the time of the incident and he was taken into custody after he refused to get out of a taxi when asked to by the officer.
