Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be a guest performer on next week's American Idol, as the Top 9 finalists choose songs from Hall of Fame inductees.

Beck, a Hall of Famer on his own and as a member of the Yardbirds, will accompany each of the singers on guitar.

Beck will also play with the Imelda May Band on The Tonight Show Thursday, April 7. The guitarist's latest album is Rock 'n' Roll Party (Honoring Les Paul), a CD, DVD and Blu-Ray release of live performances at New York's Iridium Club paying tribute to the late guitarist Les Paul.
