Did The Biebs Name Drop R-Patz For Attention???

You wouldn't think he'd need to, but if we take Robert Pattinson at his word, that seems to be case.

Travel back with us, if you will, to a time before Justin Bieber cut off his luscious locks and started dating (supposedly) Selena Gomez.

Back in the day, J Biebs was just a scrawny mega-superstar trying to hit on girls in clubs where he so didn't belong. In an interview, he regaled meeting Robert at a party and the two bonded over their hoards of tweenage fans and the obsession they have with their hair. According to Justin:

"One day Robert Pattinson came up to me at a party and said, 'For whatever reason, people love our hair and it's always a great ice-breaker with girls.' He is like, 'Hey my name's Robert. Want to touch my hair?' I thought he was joking, but it really works."

However, according to Rob, this whole interaction never happened. He swears he's never met The Biebs and he's curious to understand why Justin would name drop when he is so famous in his own right. In an interview with MTV, R-Patz explained:
