Submit your Speaker Proposal for the Internet Culture & Digital Life Festival in Brazil

This is a guest post from our media partner in Brazil, startupi.

youpixIf you are tied into contemporary culture and technology, you?ll be glad to hear the biggest festival of internet culture is calling for speaker proposals. From April 26-28 the youPIX/SP Festival will take place at the Poro das Artes in Brazil (below the Bienal building in Ibiripuera Park).

THE HUB

As we mentioned in this post, we are full of new things this year and one of these is having a second, smaller location at the HUB that will be a LOUNGE, with various parallel activities such as music (curated by Lalai and Ana Laura of Remix), design (curated by Janara Lopes from IdeaFixa) and interactive art (curated by Giuliano Chiaradia, director of New Media at Globo and founder of SetExperimental).

WANT TO PARTICIPATE?

We are opening a set period of time (4-5pm) in the HUB for talks, discussions and so on.

If you always wanted to see someone or a certain subject in youPIX, this is your chance to make it happen!

The theme has to relate to internet culture and digital life; a discussion on the reproductive habits of gorillas would be difficult to incorporate in the program.

To suggest a subject or speaker, fill out this form by March 22nd.

This is your chance to show your ideas to the youPIX audience!

We will choose ten activities that most closely relate to the purpose of the youPIX festival and publish them on the site.

Between April 4 and 11 the selected activities will be voted on, with the three most popular being entered in the official event. Everyone can play a part!

Check out the full schedule here.
