Whitney Port debuts red-hot hair

Whitney Port (l. in May, r. Wednesday) has been 'experimenting' with her hair color.

What's the best part about experimenting with your hair color? You can change it as frequently as you want.

Whitney Port has "been having a lot of fun" doing just that with her colorist Johnny Ramirez.

The former star of the MTV reality series "The City" revealed her latest hue on Wednesday.

"A few months ago, we went with a bright red which then gradually washed out to a strawberry blonde," she explained on her Celebuzz blog, "and now I've gone sun kissed apricot!"

Port, 26, is now sporting auburn-colored roots that gradually get lighter towards the tips. She posted a series of photos showing the new 'do from different angles.

Since her debut on "The Hills" in 2006, the reality star has slowly been building herself a career as a young style maven.

She released an advice book, "True Whit: Designing a Life of Style, Beauty, and Fun" in February.
