Reese Witherspoon will be honored with at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday with the MTV Generation Award.
The ?Legally Blonde? actress received the most votes for the generation award, given for entertaining audiences throughout her acting career.
Witherspoon, 35, will join the ranks of Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, and Sandra Bullock who are past recipients of the honor.

The MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by SNL?s Jason Sudeikis and presenters will include Ryan Reynolds, Nicki Minaj, Blake Lively, and Cameron Diaz among others.
The newly married actress recently injured her ankle and is in a walking cast so Reese may have to skp the heels this year.
Reese?s rep said of the injury,� ?She twisted her ankle and is in a walking cast temporarily. Nothing serious.?
