Cheryl Cole at X Factor USA auditions in LA
Cheryl Cole has already annoyed some X Factor fans, because they think she?s coming between Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
The Girls Aloud star moved Stateside this week, after being officially confirmed as a judge on the new American version of the singing show. When the televised auditions started in LA on Sunday, she was forced to sit away from Simon Cowell, as he was closely flanked by his former American Idol colleague Paula Abdul. However, roll on day two and Cheryl was back in her coveted spot, with Paula relegated to a spot further on down the table.
This change has not gone un-noticed by ?Saula? fans, who are angry that the new Brit is coming between their two favourite stars.
One took to Twitter to write:
If you want America to love Cheryl, don?t put her in between Simon & Paula. SAULA is powerful, you shouldn?t split them
The comment was retweeted many times.
Another disgruntled fan wrote:
Tell Simon its America not the UK and people will be tunin into see SAULA not him and cheryl,so to get his ass back beside P
However Paula didn?t seem to mind the separation and certainly wasn?t holding the seat swap against her newest pal. She took to Twitter to praise the star saying:
Lots of you ask ?What?s it like to work w/ #CherylCole? can you understand her accent?? She?s a delight, lovely & sweet. what accent?
She added:
?What?s it like working w/ Simon again?? ? It?s great to be around Simon again for real!
